About
the Certification Program
Testing
& Evaluation
All course tests require a passing score of 70%. The online
tests for each course are designed to be comprehensive. After receiving
a passing score on all individual tests, the tests can be used
as a tool to prepare for the post assessment and reviewed as many
times as needed.
Student should not take the tests for the required classes until
they have ATTENDED the class. For the required classes, the RCC
Administrator will verify attendance once the test has been taken.
Tests are multiple choice. Participants will have two opportunities
to receive a passing score on the individual tests. There will be
a 24 hour waiting period between the first and second attempts at
passing the test.
After two attempts to pass a test, the participant will be asked
to attend the course. Participants will need to contact the RCC
administrator at rcc-cert@duke.edu
when they are ready to retake the test. The RCC administrator will
reset the testing system.
After you pass the test, you must complete the online Course Evaluation
so that credit is reported. Credit will not be recorded, and you
will not be able to print out a Certificate of Completion, until
the Evaluation form has been submitted.
