"Federal research expenditures at Duke University have doubled over the past 12 years to approximately $300 million in fiscal year 2002. Total research revenue represents approximately one quarter of the University’s revenue."

Tom Davis, Director
Office of Sponsored Programs

"As a new employee at Duke, the Research Costing Compliance Certification program has provided me with an excellent foundation of knowledge regarding a variety of management and compliance issues. The courses offered through this program have dramatically increased the speed of my learning curve at the University. I think this kind of program is vital in Duke's continued effort to appropriately manage funds from all sources."
