About the Certification Program

Mission & Goals

To fulfill our mission, the RCC Certification program provides:

Understandable expectations for grant recipients and their administrators through clearly defined roles & responsibilities;

A training curriculum, sponsored by the Financial Services Office at Duke University, which will ensure that all financial/grant administrators have a thorough understanding of all aspects of Sponsored Projects Administration Compliance (including Pre & Post Award Administration & Compliance);

A program that will promote compliance (Duke & Federal) by communicating information and accountability requirements; and

Resources and continuing education to the Duke community to support a proficient financial/grant administration workforce.
