"We established a curriculum which we think best fits the needs of research administrators. As a result of this training, the team increased their knowledge of research administration. Our knowledge gained is a great measurable indicator of the program's success."

Todd Leovic,

Enrollment

The certification program was created for financial/grant administrators. Approximately 15 to 20 students will be invited to enroll in the program each month. This may increase as we gain experience with training frequency/course offerings.

Each class will include many different departments to promote networking. Research intensive departments will receive priority.

Participants will learn more about the program from the first introductory course. Participants must complete the program in 12 months from the date of enrollment.

If you are interested in enrolling, please fill out the Request for Enrollment form. You will be notified via email when you are selected to begin the program.

Benefits of Certification
The RCC Certification will:

  • Promote compliance (Duke & Federal) by increasing your understanding of financial information and accountability requirements
  • Ensure you have a body of knowledge in all aspects of financial/grant administration
  • Provide an inventory of all available resources.
  • Enhance your resume. This will be an indication that a certified employee is a qualified financial/grant administrator.

Additionally, some courses offer CPE credit.
