Continuing Education (CE) will be required to maintain the RCC Certification.
To maintain Certification, RCC-certified employees must attend four (4) classes per 18-month renewal period. All mandatory classes must be taken prior to or during a renewal period.
The classes that are required is dependent on your Date of Enrollment into the program. Please review your transcript for your Date of Enrollment.
- If your Date of Enrollment is prior to 1/1/2007 and you are in your 1st 18-month CE period you are required to take 2 mandatory classes and 2 elective classes (if you elect to take additional mandatory classes, they will apply towards your next CE period)
- If your Date of Enrollment is prior to 1/1/2007 and you are in your 2nd 18-month CE period you are required to take 2 mandatory classes and 2 elective classes (if you elect to take additional mandatory classes, they will apply towards your next CE period)
- If your Date of Enrollment is after 1/1/2007 and you are in your 1st 18-month CE period you are required to take the 4 mandatory classes below. One of which will be rolled out in Fall of 2007
Mandatory classes WILL be applied to future renewal period requirements. Non-mandatory classes taken WILL NOT be applied.
